Monday Fast Tips for Brides #12 - The Wedding Album

There are lots of options when it comes to wedding albums. They range from Do It Yourself cheap solutions all the way up to Italian handcrafted leather albums that cost as much as your wedding dress.

Here is a breakdown of your wedding album options:

Do It Yourself Wedding Album $$
You consider yourself pretty handy. You buy scrapbooking material from local craftstore and assemble your own album. Sweet! Just make sure the pages are acid free and be careful with any glues or tapes you use, they can discolor or ruin your photos if your not careful.

Proof Album $$$
Show all the images of your wedding day as 4x6s or 5x5s. Old school photographers don't let you keep this album. With us you're free to keep yours - thats what you are paying for!

Matted Album $$$ - $$$$$$
This traditional style of wedding album is most likely what your parents have. It can be a classic and beautiful album that your family will cherish. Some are so durable and heavy they may be able to withstand a nuclear explosion.

Coffee Table Album / Magazine Style Album $$$ - $$$$$$
This style is becoming more and more popular. The pages are graphically designed and can be simple and elegant or as creative as you can think of. These type of books will look much like an expensive art coffee table book. Words and effects can be applied to this type of book that are not available for Matted Albums. Find a graphic artist or photographer with much graphic art experience (we have 10 years professional real world graphic art experience). Take a look at some of our samples (shown below). Allebach Photography uses Asuka Book for this type of wedding album.

Flush Mount Coffee Table Album
