Paula & Krishna :: Tattooed Bride :: Outdoor New Jersey Wedding
Paula & Krishna know how to have fun. I have never laughed so much during a ceremony...their officiant was extremely funny. Despite arriving in the middle of a rain storm, their outdoor/tent wedding & reception went rather smoothly - once the wedding started nothing seemed to phase Paula & Krishna. We were able to get photos in between the showers!
Here is a note from Paula after the wedding:

OMG OMG OMG. I'm sitting here crying, they're so good. you did such beautiful
work. thank you thank you thank you thank you and I'm not even halfway through
the photos yet. you and your family have free pony rides for the rest of your
lives anytime you're in South Jersey, for serious.
thank you for being so damn cool about everything, and for being so kind and
patient during our soggy, crazy blur of a wedding day. I know I'm falling all
over myself here but omfg. we will treasure these. especially because our
families are getting older, and we don't know how much longer some of them will
be with us, and you made everyone look so lovely. you're just so good at
*catching* people.
Tattoo Artist & Mixed Martial Artist :: Karly & Steve Engagement Photos
As I mentioned in the last blog post, I love love love engagement photo sessions. It gives us a chance to meet the couple before their wedding.
Karly is a Tattoo Artist at The Ink Well in Southampton, Pa and Steve teaches Mixed Martial Arts at Wings Martial Arts Studio.
The proposal happened at the beautiful Grounds for Sculpture in Trenton, New Jersey, so we visited the Grounds for Sculpture for the engagement photo session. Karly & Steve had a wonderful chemistry together and taking their photo was a breeze.
And now to the photos of one of our favorite sessions of the year!

The Top 5 Philadelphia Area Wedding Venues You Should Know About
Looking for a unique wedding venue? We'll save you some time by listing 5 venues that we love that you may not have heard of within 1 hour of Philadelphia. Each of these venues has a rich history. These are some of our favorite backdrops for photos!

| Fonthill Museum |
- Fonthill Museum - Doylestown, Pa
The concrete castle boasts 44 rooms, 18 fireplaces and more than 200 windows of varying sizes and shapes. The museum was recently featured on A&E’s “America’s Castles." Fonthill was also as the scene for HIM's music video And Love Said No directed by Bam Margero.
We love Fonthill engagements in the snow - Old Mill - Rose Valley, Pa
Featuring old stone walls with an ivy-covered courtyard and a Bamboo Garden perfect for wedding photos. Provides a breathtaking setting for your intimate wedding ceremony for your quests to enjoy this charming smaller setting. Don't forget the old stone bridge to private gardens. We loved this setting for Stephanie & Shawn's candlelight wedding took place here! - Grounds for Sculpture - Hamilton, NJ
250 contemporary sculptures and a perfect backdrop for a wedding. Like Old Mill, this venue includes We fell in love with this space at our engagement session for Karly & Steve.
- Phoenixville Foundry - Phoenixville, Pa
On the site of Phoenix Iron & Steel Company this site is perfect for Steampunk Weddings. This venue has giant pieces of steel, giant gears and mixes the old and the new perfectly. And don't forget the 60' high ceiling. Caroline & Rob's wedding reception was hosted here. - Stotesbury Mansion - Center City Philadelphia
You can't get anymore historic than this wedding venue. The Stotebury Mansion's ballroom took 500 craftsmen over a year to reassemble the ballroom in the townhouse. They imported the crystal Louis XV period chandeliers, the 14th Century Italian marble fireplace, the gold ceiling panels, the Beauvais tapestry that represented abundance hung from the Italian fireplace, and the marble Corinthian columns.
In fact, they even managed to keep Dolly Madison's fireplace when First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy tried to negotiate for its purchase in 1961 when she was renovating the White House.
Mark & Alice's Wedding Reception + All of our 20s Flapper Photos were taken here.

Engagement Photography - Steph & Scott
Check out these engagement photos of Steph & Scott! Like many of our engagement sessions this year, this one involved a pub with craft beer called The Dark Horse Pub. Oh and of course it had their cute dog!
