I decided to pull out a wedding photo from the archives. Rachel took this photo and it's still one of my favorites (it's even on film, how nostalgic). It's kind of got that Tattooed Bride / 50's feel to it.

Let's just say people honked at us. A lot. Then again we may have asked for it by standing in the middle of Columbus Blvd in Philadelphia. I just could resist taking Alicia below the busy I-95 and to the railroad tracks.

Tattooed Brides: Charmaine

Charmaine helped arrange this trash the dress event. For her this is a pre-wedding trash the dress, as she is engaged to be married later this year. Hopefully her dress gets dry cleaned before the wedding.

These photos were shot in a much abandoned part of Chester, Pa. On Sunday everything is closed up and the abandoned building and planes taking off. It's so cliche', I felt like I had walked onto a set for an action movie chase scene.

Tattooed Brides Get Trashed

So what happens when 6 tattooed brides put on wedding dresses? We throw a huge trash the dress session. These photos were taken under I-95, in industrial parks, on Columbus Blvd, on railroad tracks in Philadelphia & Chester, Pa. A huge thanks to our friends Charmaine & Tim of Highball Society who helped pull this event off. We'll be posting lots of these images over the next few months. Enjoy.

Want to recover from wedding let down? Trash the Dress! Do we really mean destroying the dress you paid $3000 for...no not really (well, only if you want). Trashing the Dress is a philosophy. It's about doing those things that you wouldn't be comfortable doing on your wedding day. Standing on train tracks, laying on the ground, running through a field... you get the idea.
